If you want your invitations to literally stand out, embossing is the perfect finishing for you. It creates raised images by using etched metal plates, pressed into paper. The three-dimensional impression won’t disappoint, especially if you enjoy textured, tactile details. There are a range of embossing techniques to choose from.
Embossed images can either be ‘blind’ where the image is purely raised on paper, foil stamped or embossed in coloured ink.

What is Pressed foil
Foil pressing refers to the application of foil using heat and pressure to transfer it onto the paper's surface. When you run your hands over a foil-pressed print you'll be able to see and feel a slight indentation of the surface giving it a beautiful and tactile finish similar to letterpress. Modern digital foil stamping cannot achieve this effect. All collections in the press foil collection are done on non-digital texture paper such as cotton paper.
