The timeless, classic appearance of letterpress lies within its history, dating back to 175 AD China. This age old technique will have your guests in awe of its beautiful craftsmanship.
It involves a raised surface with imagery or letters being inked and pressed against a continuous roll of paper. This results in a crisp impression, providing a handcrafted appearance.
Letterpress looks amazing with any design, but we recommend printing on cotton paper for the finest results. Sophisticated line work, clean text and bold patterns will have great visual definition.
This method works very well with foil.

What is Pressed foil
Foil pressing refers to the application of foil using heat and pressure to transfer it onto the paper's surface. When you run your hands over a foil-pressed print you'll be able to see and feel a slight indentation of the surface giving it a beautiful and tactile finish similar to letterpress. Modern digital foil stamping cannot achieve this effect. All collections in the press foil collection are done on non-digital texture paper such as cotton paper.
